My purchased item is damaged, what should I do?

We are sorry that the item you bought from us is damaged. You can contact us by email and we will offer you a suitable solution as soon as possible. Please do not return damaged items without contacting us first.

How do I use Carfumes

Step 1: Remove the wooden cap from the bottle.

Step 2: Remove the plastic cap from the bottle.

Step 3: Tighten the wooden cap back on the bottle.

Step 4: Hold the bottle upside down for a few seconds (3 to 5 seconds) so that the oil penetrates the wood (leave the string in it to prevent leaks).

Step 5: The bottle is now ready for use and can be attached in the car.

NOTE: Do not invert the bottle more than once a week. The bottle can leak due to frequent turning


I have not received an order confirmation, why not?

After you have placed your order, it can take up to two hours for you to receive the confirmation email. Also check your spam inbox. If the payment has been processed and you have not received a confirmation email after two hours, please contact us by email.

I have just placed an order, can I still change or cancel my order?

In order to process all orders quickly, we send all orders immediately to our warehouse for packing and shipping. Once your order has been paid and processed, it is no longer possible to change the order. If you want to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We check the status of your order and see if it has not yet been collected from our warehouse. Once your order has been made, it is no longer possible to cancel or change the order. Refuse the package upon delivery at the door. It will then be returned to our warehouse at our expense. As soon as the return has been processed in our warehouse, we will process your return and you will receive a refund of your purchase amount.

What are the shipping costs

At Carfumes you pay € 4.50 shipping costs within the Netherlands. For orders within the Netherlands above € 40, you pay no shipping costs. For all other locations, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

How will my order be shipped?

We ship your order in a bubble envelope by letterbox package or in a bubble wrap box depending on the size and number of items in your order.

Will my order fit in the letterbox?

Ja onze pakketjes passen door de brievenbus maar dat hangt ook af van de grootte van uw bestelling. Bij het afrekenen krijgt u te zien hoeveel de uiteindelijke verzendkosten zijn en wat voor pakket wij zullen versturen.

Is it possible to exchange items?

We do not exchange products. If you want to return the item for another item, you can follow our regular return process and order a new item.

How can I return an order?

You have 14 days to return your order after receipt. Orders must be returned unused and in the original packaging. Return costs are not covered by Carfumes. If you want to return your order send us an email.

How will my order be refunded if a defective item is returned?

If you have returned your order and selected “money back”, we will refund you as soon as possible within 14 days of receiving your return. We always refund the amount to the bank account / credit card with which you placed the order.


Do I need to create an account to order online?

If you want to place an order, a Carfumes account is not necessary. You can checkout as a guest, checkout quickly with a Paypal account or register as a customer.

What are the benefits of an account on Carfumes?

A Carfumes account makes placing an order faster and easier. Your address details are automatically filled in and all your orders can easily be found in one place.

How do I create an account?

We can delete your account whenever you want. Send us an email to and we will delete your account. You will receive confirmation of this.

How can I delete my account?

Click on “My Account” at the top right of our website. All fields with a star must be completed in order to register.


I have just ordered something, when can I expect my order?

We do our utmost to fulfill all orders within 48 hours. As soon as we have sent / registered the package, we will inform you immediately.

Are deliveries affected by covid 19?

We do our utmost to fulfill all orders within 48 hours. This means that when you place an order, your package leaves our warehouse within 48 hours.
